A newborn session is a gentle, beautiful way to preserve this fleeting time. In the years to come, your photos will become treasured keepsakes—reminders of how little they once were, and how much love filled your home from the very beginning.
Your Baby, Your Comfort
The best time to photograph newborns is between 5 and 18 days after birth, when they’re still curled up and sleepy. I understand those early days can feel overwhelming, which is why I make your comfort a top priority. Sessions can be held at my calm, cozy studio in Surrey or, if you'd prefer, in the quiet of your own home.
Everything is prepared for you—soft wraps, gentle textures, and a thoughtfully curated selection of props.
I’ve spent years working with newborns, and I treat every baby as if they were my own. Every pose is done with care, every moment handled with patience and love. While I gently photograph your little one, you’re welcome to sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience.

Your family's health is our priority. We adhere to strict hygiene standards, and our team (Max 2) will wear face masks throughout the session.

The best time for a newborn session is when the baby is 5-18 days old, although we can accommodate setups until the baby is eight weeks old.

A clear area of approximately 10 x 10 feet is needed to set up the equipment and ensure a comfortable experience.

Sessions are available throughout the Lower Mainland, with travel costs included in the package.

Frequently asked questions
When Is The Best Time To Take Newborn Photos?
The ideal time for newborn photography is within the first 5-18 days after birth, when your baby is still very sleepy and naturally curls into those sweet, womb-like poses. While I can absolutely photograph older babies, the dreamy, snug poses you see in my portfolio are easiest to achieve when they're under two weeks old.
To ensure availability, I recommend booking during your pregnancy, ideally in your third trimester.
When should I schedule my session?
It’s best to reserve your session before your baby arrives. Once your deposit is made, I’ll mark your due date as a tentative session. After baby is born, we’ll confirm the exact date together. If your baby has already arrived and you didn’t book in advance—don’t worry! Reach out, and if possible, I’ll try to fit you in for an emergency session.
What should we wear for the session?
I recommend coordinating outfits in soft, neutral tones—think creams, pastels, and earthy hues. Avoid pure white and bold patterns or logos for a timeless look.
What should we bring to the session?
Please bring baby’s milk (breast milk or formula), a blanket , diapers and a pacifier, even if your baby doesn’t typically use one. Feeding and soothing are a natural part of the session, and these small comforts help create a calm and cozy environment. I’ll provide everything else—props, wraps, accessories, and all the gentle touches.
Do we have to come to your studio?
My newborn sessions are primarily held in my fully equipped studio, designed for your baby’s safety and comfort. However, I do offer in-home option as well. If you’d prefer to have your photos taken in the comfort of your own space, just let me know and we can discuss availability and details.
When do we will receive the online gallery and the edited photos?
You’ll receive your online gallery to select your favourite images the day after your session. Once you've made your selections, the final edited photos will be delivered within 3 weeks.
